The 2014 Miss Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant will be held at the Lewistown Middle School on Manor Drive in Lewistown at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2014. All rehearsals and interviews will take place on the day of the pageant. The Miss Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant and the Miss Central Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen Pageant are sponsored by the Miss Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Organization, a Pennsylvania not-for-profit organization. The pageants are official preliminaries to the Miss Pennsylvania and Miss America Pageants and to the Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen and Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageants. In the 2013 pageant held in February 2013 the pageant awarded almost $4000 in scholarships and other awards. In addition,three young women, Miss Central Pennsylvania Brenna Carnuccio, Miss Greater Juniata Valley Annie Rosellini and Miss Freedom Forge Catherine Janisko were given the opportunity to participate in the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant in June 2103, Miss Central Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen Samantha Renck, Miss Greater Juniata Valley's Outstanding Teen Samantha Renck  and Miss Freedom Forge's Outstanding Teen Madeleine Smith won teen titles and the right to compete in the Miss Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen Pageant in June, 2013. The Miss Central Pennsylvania and Miss Central Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen Pageants are held in Lewistown, PA, 30 miles southeast of State College on U.S. route 322.
