The 2020 Miss Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Competition and Miss Central Pennsylvaia's Outstanding Teen Competiton will be held at the Mifflin County Middle School (formerly the Lewistown Area High School) at 2 Manor Drive in Lewistown at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2020. All rehearsals and interviews will take place on the day of the competition. The Miss Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Competition  and the Miss Central Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen Competition are sponsored by the Miss Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Organization, a Pennsylvania not-for-profit organization. The competitions are official preliminaries to the Miss Pennsylvania and Miss America Competitions and to Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen and Miss America's Outstanding Teen Competions. In the 2019 pageant held in February 2019 the competition awarded approximately $4000 in scholarships and other awards. In addition,four young women, Miss Central Pennsylvania Sarah Pennington, Miss Greater Juniata Valley Jayden Moffa, and Miss MidState Marielle Roberts-McDonald were given the opportunity to participate in the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Competition in York in June 2019. Miss Central Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen Kari Anne Leventopoulos and Miss MidState's Outstanding Hannah Fox won teen titles and the right to compete in the Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen Competioinin York in June, 2019. The Miss Central Pennsylvania and Miss Central Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen Competitions are held in Lewistown, PA, 30 miles southeast of State College on U.S. route 322.
